IMCTC Concludes Emergency and Disaster Management Program in Riyadh

The Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC), in cooperation with the General Directorate of Civil Defense, concluded the “Emergency and Disaster Management” program held at the Civil Defense Institute in Riyadh. The program was attended by 23 trainees from 10 member states and formed part of the coalition’s capacity-building initiatives to enhance professional readiness to address risks and emergencies.

The program is part of the coalition’s efforts to strengthen the efficiency of specialized personnel by equipping participants with scientific and technical knowledge and skills to manage emergency and disaster situations, particularly incidents involving hazardous materials. This helps improve response speed and the effectiveness of incident management in exceptional circumstances.

The coalition affirmed that delivering the program in cooperation with relevant authorities reflects its continued commitment to supporting member states through specialized, high-quality programs that enhance integration and coordination and raise institutional preparedness to address emergency challenges, in line with international standards and best professional practices.
