Integrated Guidance System Enhances Traffic Flow, Facilitates Movement for Visitors to Prophet’s Mosque

The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque provides an integrated guidance system throughout the Prophet’s Mosque and its facilities, comprising 274 directional signs and 106 electronic screens to facilitate access to locations and services and ease the movement of visitors and worshippers.
The system uses a unified visual identity and color coding to make instructions easier to read and destinations easier to identify. The screens display entry instructions, guidance on behaviors to avoid inside the Prophet’s Mosque, and real-time information on gate status and available entrances. This enhances visitors’ awareness and helps them choose appropriate routes.
These services help improve traffic flow and make better use of the facilities’ capacity, providing a more accessible environment for visitors to the Prophet’s Mosque and enriching their spiritual experience.
