Saudi, Syrian Culture Ministers Meet in Damascus

Minister of Culture Prince Bader bin Abdullah bin Farhan met Thursday in Damascus with Syrian Minister of Culture Mohammad Yassin Saleh.

 Prince Bader bin Abdullah has begun an official visit to Syria to attend the Damascus International Book Fair 2026, where Saudi Arabia is a guest of honor. The minister congratulated his Syrian counterpart on the book fair, wishing the Syrian government and people ongoing prosperity, progress, and success.

 The two ministers emphasized the depth of cultural ties between their countries. They highlighted the importance of cultural cooperation across various fields and the alignment of positions to advance the cultural interests of both countries.
