
KSrelief Launches 2025–2026 Afghanistan Food Security and Emergency Project
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) yesterday launched the 2025–2026 Food Security and Emergency Project in Afghanistan at Omari Camp near the Torkham border crossing in Nangarhar Province.
The project includes the allocation of 5,000 food parcels for Afghan returnees from Pakistan.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by head of the provincial Department of Refugees and Repatriation Baz Mohammad Abdulrahman, along with KSrelief representatives and several Afghan officials.
Abdulrahman expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, for its continued humanitarian and relief assistance to the Afghan people under all circumstances.
The initiative is part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing relief and humanitarian efforts, carried out through KSrelief, to support food security and aid crisis-affected communities worldwide, reinforcing its leading role in global humanitarian work.
