Northern Borders Region Launches Campaign to Plant over 11,000 Seedlings

The National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification in Northern Borders Region has launched a large-scale tree-planting campaign in several locations, which saw participation from government agencies, volunteers, and those interested in the environment and sustainable development.
 The campaign aims to plant more than 11,000 seedlings in Rafha, as part of a phased afforestation plan designed to increase green spaces and improve the environmental landscape.
 This initiative aligns with national efforts to promote vegetation development, protect natural resources, maintain ecological balance, and restore biodiversity, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to improve the quality of life and achieve environmental sustainability.
