Saudi Arabia's Digital Government Achieves Major Progress in Four Key Indicators

Four national indicators revealed the achievements of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in digital government services, reflecting the Digital Government Authority's ongoing efforts to develop and improve the digital landscape, achieve excellence, and secure global leadership.
The authority launched these four national indicators to measure the progress of government agencies in line with Saudi Vision 2030 aspirations.
The Digital Transformation Index, launched in 2021 to measure commitment to basic transformation standards, has seen consistent annual increases, rising from 69.39% in 2021 to 87.14% in 2024, showing a significant shift in corporate work culture.
The Digital Experience Index, launched in 2022 to measure the maturity of digital government platforms and services, initially achieved a completion rate of 77.26%, steadily increasing to 85.04% in 2024. This reinforces the Kingdom's position in providing user-centric digital services.
The Emerging Technologies Index, launched in 2023 to assess readiness for emerging technologies, showed strong results, rising from 60.35% in 2023 to 70.70% in 2024, indicating a deliberate shift toward post-digitalization adoption.
The Digital Content Index, which measures the quality and effectiveness of digital content on websites, recorded a completion rate of 71.40% since its launch in 2024, confirming that the government's digital presence extends beyond service delivery to every user interaction.
These national indicators contribute to measuring the success of digital transformation in the government sector, providing a clear reflection of achievements and guiding future development. They foster competition among authorities to improve services and expand their scope within an ambitious vision, positioning the Kingdom among the top five leading digital governments worldwide to ultimately enhance beneficiary satisfaction.
