Darah Launches Atlas Mapping Key Events in the Prophet’s Life

The King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah) has unveiled the “Historical Atlas of the Prophet’s Sirah” at the third Umrah and Ziyarah Forum in Madinah.

 Darah CEO Turki Alshuwaier said ‏that the Atlas is a scholarly initiative designed to serve the Prophet’s biography and raise its presence in public awareness. It documents the locations of key events in the Prophet’s life and translates them into precise maps and geographical routes, linking historical narratives to the actual sites where they occurred.

 He highlighted that the launch reflects a growing interest in enriching the educational and cultural experience of pilgrims and visitors to the Prophet’s Mosque.

 He also emphasized that the foundation follows a strategic vision to transform historical knowledge into accessible, up-to-date content that leverages modern technologies, serves diverse audiences, and deepens understanding of the Prophet’s biography and its historical context.
