NCA Emphasizes Importance of Registration to Boost Cybersecurity Services
The National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) has highlighted the importance of registering with the authority for organizations that provide cybersecurity services, products, or solutions in the Kingdom, particularly for activities that do not require a formal license from the NCA. This registration should be done through the national cybersecurity services portal, "Haseen": https://haseen.gov.sa.
The initiative aims to strengthen the development and regulation of the Kingdom’s cybersecurity market and industry. It enables providers of cybersecurity services, products, and solutions to take advantage of promising opportunities in this sector and to meet the increasing demand for these services across government, private, and non-profit sectors.
The NCA is the primary authority for cybersecurity in the Kingdom and serves as the national reference point for related matters. Its mission is to enhance cybersecurity to safeguard the state’s vital interests and national security, as well as to protect critical infrastructure, priority sectors, and government services and operations.
Additionally, the authority is responsible for promoting the growth of the Kingdom's cybersecurity sector, encouraging innovation and investment within it, and licensing cybersecurity-related activities and operations as determined by the authority.
