Air Connectivity Program Welcomes Lufthansa’s New Direct Munich to Riyadh Flights

The Saudi Air Connectivity Program (ACP) has welcomed Lufthansa’s launch of direct flights from Munich to Riyadh, with three weekly flights set to begin on October 27 of this year.
The new route is an important addition to the existing daily flights between Riyadh and Frankfurt, offering travelers more options to fly from Germany to Saudi Arabia. It will contribute to the development of air connectivity and increase seat capacity.
Lufthansa will operate this relaunched route using one of its newest aircraft, the Airbus A350-900, which has a capacity of 293 seats spread across Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy Class.
The ACP aims to boost tourism growth in the Kingdom by enhancing air connectivity and developing existing and potential air routes to connect Saudi Arabia with new global destinations.
Acting as the executive enabler of the National Tourism Strategy and the Aviation Program, the ACP fosters collaboration and builds partnerships between key public and private stakeholders in tourism and aviation to strengthen the Kingdom’s position as a leading global destination for air connectivity.
