Red Sea Global Opens AMAALA Yacht Club as New Global Yachting Destination

Red Sea Global has announced the official start of operations at AMAALA Yacht Club, marking a step towards establishing the Kingdom's northwestern coast as a new global destination for luxury yachting, sailing and marine tourism.
 Located in Marina Village at AMAALA, the club has begun welcoming founding members and visiting yachts to berth and explore the destination. Situated approximately 3,700 kilometers (2,000 nautical miles) from Monaco, it offers a new winter destination for the global luxury yachting community, which typically relocates from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean or the Indian Ocean from October each year. With its closer proximity to the Mediterranean compared with the Caribbean, AMAALA provides an attractive base for winter cruising and a strategic gateway to the Indian Ocean.

 AMAALA Marina features 119 berths and can accommodate superyachts exceeding 100 meters in length. It provides comprehensive marine services, including refueling, with maintenance and repair facilities to be added in the coming years. Spanning 7,900 square meters, AMAALA Yacht Club serves as a central hub for the destination's sailing community, offering world-class facilities, services and experiences for residents and visiting yacht owners alike. Berthing and mooring fees are comparable to those at leading European yachting destinations, while yacht owners who reserve permanent berths receive a range of exclusive benefits at partner resorts.
 The club features a selection of restaurants and social spaces for members and guests, including AMAALA Lounge, Anqa, 27 Degrees and The Deck, alongside a rooftop swimming pool, private meeting suites and dedicated spaces for gatherings and social events.
 The club's academy also offers a sailing program alongside water sports experiences, catering to participants of different skill levels and age groups.
 The club plays a key role in strengthening the Kingdom's presence on the international sailing stage. It will serve as the focal point for the Grand Finale of The Ocean Race 2027, one of the world's most prestigious sailing races, and will host a series of international yachting events throughout the year.
 Club members and guests will have access to AMAALA's newly opened luxury resorts, including Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA, Six Senses AMAALA, Rosewood AMAALA, Equinox Resort and Residences AMAALA, and Nammos AMAALA. Two additional resorts are scheduled to join them in the coming months. Visitors will enjoy comprehensive wellness offerings, premium water sports, cultural programs, art installations, and vibrant social spaces in a distinctive destination that introduces a new approach to the yachting lifestyle.
 With an average temperature of 26°C throughout the season and average lows of 23°C, AMAALA offers a comfortable environment for sailing year-round for yacht owners, their guests and crew. Al Wajh International Airport is just 45 minutes from the destination, providing convenient access for international visitors.
 Designed by architectural firm HKS, the club draws inspiration from the sculpted rock formations along the Red Sea coast, reflected in its projecting terraces. Its design also incorporates influences from maritime heritage and traditional Arabian architectural forms. The landmark was conceived as a lasting gathering place for the international sailing and yachting community. Like the destination as a whole, AMAALA Yacht Club operates entirely on renewable energy, reflecting Red Sea Global's commitment to responsible development and regenerative tourism.
