Esports World Cup Foundation Launches First-of-Its-Kind Esports Nations Cup

The Esports World Cup Foundation announced the launch of the Esports Nations Cup on the opening day of the New Global Sport Conference (NGSC 2025).
 The event marks the first international tournament dedicated to Esports national teams, featuring competitions across a wide range of the world’s most popular games. It will be the largest global Esports event of its kind, offering elite players a platform to represent their countries and showcase the ambitions of millions of fans.
 The tournament seeks to establish Esports as a national sport, instill pride among players competing under their country’s flag, and give fans worldwide an opportunity to support their national teams and favorite players.
 Participation will span regions including North America, South America, Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, Africa, Asia, Southeast Asia, and Oceania, reflecting the global spread of traditional sports. Both team-based and individual competitions will be featured.
 The Esports World Cup Foundation confirmed it will work with regional organizations to form national teams and strengthen their representation in the tournament.
