Dr. Al-Issa Announces the Trial Launch of the International Museum of the Prophetic Biography at the Clock Towers in Makkah Al Mukarramah
In the context of the efforts of the Muslim World League to serve and promote the noble Prophetic Sunnah, His Excellency the Secretary General of the Muslim World League, who oversees the exhibitions and international museums of the Prophetic biography and Islamic civilization, His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, inspected the project of the International Museum of the Prophetic Biography in the Clock Towers in Makkah, which stands at the forefront of the major and principal stations of the museum.
His Eminence also reviewed the diverse and creative sections of the exhibition, and announced the "trial operation" of the museum during the current month of Ramadan. The museum includes more than 30 sections, offering over 200 visual and interactive presentations in five international languages, utilizing the latest digital and interactive display technologies.
The exhibition and the museum aim to promote awareness of the noble biography of our Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, encompassing its guiding values for the best way of life. This serves to enhance Islamic awareness of the Prophet's guidance, peace be upon him, and to expose the dangers of extremism falsely attributed to Islam, especially in the biography of our Prophet, peace be upon him. Additionally, the museum highlights our Islamic civilization, its pure source, and its noble guidance.
The series of International Museums of the Prophetic Biography and Islamic Civilization, with its permanent and traveling branches, represents a unique precedent in the history of introducing the Prophetic biography and Islamic civilization. It distinguishes itself through its comprehensive sources, scholarly works, peer-reviewed research, and state-of-the-art presentation methods. These museums aim to provide visitors from around the world with information about Islamic values and to counter misconceptions about them.
