Health Ministry Participates in GCC Meeting to Enhance Drug Control Cooperation

The Ministry of Health participated in a meeting organized by the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) at its headquarters in Riyadh to mark the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.

 The event was attended by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Security Affairs Dr. Mohammed Al-Battal, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for International Cooperation Rakan bin Duhaish, and representatives from the Ministries of Health and Interior, as well as relevant authorities from GCC countries.

 The participants discussed the efforts of GCC countries in drug control, ways to enhance joint cooperation, and the exchange of expertise and experiences in prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation, in line with the unified Gulf strategy in this field.
