Bahrain Condemns Iranian Missile Attacks on Its Territory and Neighboring Arab Nations
The Kingdom of Bahrain has strongly condemned the treacherous Iranian missile attacks targeting its territory, as well as those of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
Manama described the attacks as a flagrant violation of the sovereignty, security, and stability of the affected nations. It emphasized that such actions threaten the safety and lives of civilians and residents, while demonstrating a complete disregard for international law, norms, and the principles of good neighborliness.
The Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs commended the high efficiency of the air defense systems in Bahrain and the brotherly countries, which successfully intercepted and destroyed several incoming missiles, although others struck various sites and facilities. The ministry affirmed that the valiant armed forces of these nations remain fully prepared to deter any attacks that threaten the security and safety of brotherly Arab states or violate their sovereignty and independence.
Bahrain called on the international community to condemn this heinous aggression and adopt an immediate, decisive stance to halt these treacherous acts that endanger civilian lives. The ministry reiterated that sovereign states retain the absolute legal right to respond and take all necessary measures to safeguard their security, stability, and the safety of their citizens and residents.
