Ankara University Students Explore Makkah's Cultural Heritage at Umm Al-Qura University

Umm Al-Qura University’s Cultural Front received a group of students from Ankara University in Türkiye as part of an Arabic language program for non-native speakers.
 They explored the Cultural Front’s rich collection of historical artifacts, rare heritage items, and manuscripts. They also viewed educational content documenting the history of Makkah and the Two Holy Mosques, highlighting the region’s Islamic cultural and civilizational heritage.
 In addition, they experienced digital and interactive exhibits offering cultural and educational content in several languages, enriching their visit and deepening their understanding of the site’s history.
 The visit included a tour of the galleries, which house 10 museum collections, approximately 5,600 artifacts, and more than 21,000 historical and scientific manuscripts.
 The students expressed their admiration for the rich cultural content, emphasizing the importance of such visits in promoting cultural understanding and fostering knowledge exchange between academic institutions.
