Etidal, Telegram Remove Over 30 Million Extremist Posts in Q2 2025

 Joint efforts between the Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideology (Etidal) and Telegram in the second quarter of 2025 resulted in the removal of 30,846,485 pieces of extremist content and the shutdown of 1,254 extremist channels, as part of a broader initiative to combat digital extremism.

 This brings the total number of extremist materials removed since the partnership began in February 2022 to 207,604,942, with 17,455 extremist channels shut down by the end of June 2025.
