KSrelief Launches Training Program to Enhance Farmers' Skills in Yemen's Al-Mahra
King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) recently launched a training program aimed at enhancing the capacities of farmers in the districts of Al Masilah, Qishn, Huswain, and Al-Ghaidhah in the Yemeni Governorate of Al-Mahra. A total of 90 individuals are benefiting from the initiative, which falls under the project for sustainable agriculture and empowerment in agriculture and fisheries, designed to strengthen resilience in Yemen.
The program includes a series of specialized training courses focusing on sustainable agricultural program design, farm management and marketing, integrated pest management, fertilizer preparation, and the optimal use of pesticides. The program also encompasses training for veterinary workers to serve rural communities.
This initiative is part of KSrelief's efforts to support agricultural communities in Yemen and boost local food production through training programs, distribution of agricultural inputs, rehabilitation of productive assets, and water resource management.
