Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University (PSAU) has made a remarkable advance in the 2026 Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings, climbing over 250 places in a milestone that underscores its ongoing efforts to elevate its academic and research profile on the international stage.
This significant progress was announced during the THE World Academic Summit hosted by King Abdullah University of Science and Technology. PSAU moved from the 601–800 range to the 401–500 range, reflecting its commitment to excellence in both academics and research.
This advancement is attributed to PSAU’s strategic focus on attracting distinguished faculty, expanding modern research facilities, and implementing quality-driven initiatives.
Locally, PSAU also enhanced its standing by ranking fifth among the Kingdom’s universities, further solidifying its role as a leading institution for education and research.
