Training Program for 70 Teachers Launched in Taiz Under International Professional Teaching Certificates Project

A training program was launched today in Taiz Governorate for 70 male and female teachers, comprising 50 training courses over six months.
The initiative is part of the International Professional Teaching Certificates (IPTC) project, implemented in partnership between the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY), the Hayel Saeed Anam & Co. Group (HSA Group), King Saud University (KSU)—represented by the King Abdullah Institute for Research and Consulting Studies (KAI)—and the Humanitarian Development Program (HDP), under the supervision of Yemen’s Ministry of Education.
The program represents a strategic step toward developing teachers’ capacities and promoting modern teaching methods aligned with contemporary educational requirements.
The SDRPY has implemented 265 projects and development initiatives across eight key sectors—education, health, transportation, energy, water, agriculture, fisheries, and development programs—along with initiatives to support and strengthen government capacities across various Yemeni governorates.
