SDB Named Best Financier for Women Entrepreneurs for Second Year at G20 YEA Summit

The Social Development Bank (SDB) has achieved a new international milestone by winning the Best Financier for Women Entrepreneurs Award during its participation in the G20 Young Entrepreneurs' Alliance (YEA) 2025 Summit, held in Johannesburg, South Africa, from September 18 to 24.

 The summit brought together over 500 entrepreneurs from around the world, along with representatives from governments, major corporations, and international organizations.

 This award highlights SDB’s prominent role in empowering female entrepreneurs. It reflects the bank's substantial contributions to the growth of small businesses, the expansion of employment opportunities for women, and the increased participation of women in the labor market. Additionally, the bank offers a variety of specialized financing programs aimed at supporting the establishment and development of projects led by women.

 This win marks another milestone in SDB’s pioneering journey in development, adding to its impressive record of prestigious local and international awards. Just last year, SDB was honored with the Best Financing Institution for Women Entrepreneurs in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region at the Global SME Finance Forum, held in Brazil.
