SRCA Enhances Hajj Response with Eco-Friendly Ambulance Vehicles and Modern Technologies

The Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) has enhanced its field response capabilities for the 1447 AH Hajj season through eco-friendly, electrically powered ambulance vehicles designed for rapid access to emergency cases in narrow and crowded locations.

 The Rufaidah electric ambulance wheelchair is among the modern technologies introduced for the first time this Hajj season, having proven its effectiveness during the Ramadan Umrah season in supporting operations within the Grand Mosque and surrounding areas.

 SRCA is deploying more than 3,000 mechanisms this season, with air-conditioned golf carts among the latest additions, offering compact size for access to narrow spaces, full electric power, and a rear cooling system to ensure patient comfort in high temperatures.
