NCVC Invites Expressions of Interest to Invest in Three Sites in Northern Borders Region

The National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification (NCVC) invited investors to submit their expressions of interest to invest in a number of national parks in Northern Borders Region, as part of its ongoing efforts to advance environmental and economic sustainability.

According to a press release issued by the NCVC, the center explained that the sites open for expressions of interest are located in Ktefah Park in Turaif Governate, the Al-Sulaymaniyah fenced site in Al-Uwayqilah Governorate, and the Faydat Naqdhah Floodplain in Rafha Governate.

The investment scope at these locations includes camping, caravans, restaurants, coffee shops, seating areas, outfitters for trip supplies, and activities like safari trips and hiking.

The release added that these investment opportunities aim to enhance vegetation cover, contribute to the local economy, and promote nature-based destination tourism, while strengthening private-sector participation in developing national parks.

NCVC is offering long-term investment opportunities alongside seasonal opportunities to develop vegetation cover, support diverse greening projects, conserve natural resources, and improve quality of life, while contributing to the growth of the national economy and creating new job opportunities for citizens, in line with the objectives of the Saudi Green Initiative and Saudi Vision 2030.
