Islamic Affairs Ministry Implements Educational Programs in Over 120 Countries in 1447 AH
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance implemented outreach and educational programs in more than 120 countries in 1447 AH, under the directives and supervision of Minister Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Al Alsheikh, extending its global mission and reinforcing its leading role in serving Islam and Muslims.
The ministry's initiatives achieved a broad international reach across several fields. More than 2.5 million copies of the Holy Quran were distributed in 93 countries, reflecting the Kingdom's continued efforts to disseminate the Holy Quran around the world.
In the field of Quranic competitions, the ministry organized international competitions in four countries. It also implemented the Imams Abroad Program in 47 countries with the participation of 90 imams. In addition, the ministry carried out its Iftar Program for fasting individuals in 70 countries and distributed 1,000 tons of dates across 120 countries, reflecting the humanitarian and outreach dimensions of its programs.
On the educational front, the ministry organized 97 in-person courses in 48 countries, alongside 12 online academic courses that benefited participants in 93 countries. These initiatives contributed to the dissemination of Islamic knowledge and the development of Islamic professionals around the world.
