General Directorate of Prisons Holds Awareness Lecture to Mark World Drug Day

As part of its World Drug Day activities, the General Directorate of Prisons held an awareness lecture in cooperation with the Azm Center for Psychological and Social Empowerment at the General Department of Medical Services of the Ministry of Interior. Director General of Prisons Major General Fahd bin Mutlaq Al-Osaimi attended the event, which was held at the directorate's headquarters in Riyadh.

 The lecture addressed the dangers of psychoactive substances and addiction, their health effects on individuals and society, available treatment programs, and ways to raise awareness of the risks of drug abuse and its prevention.
