Prince Mohammed bin Salman Hospital in Aden Adds Advanced Medical Equipment

Prince Mohammed bin Salman Hospital in Aden introduced advanced medical imaging and laboratory equipment to enhance patient services. The ceremony was attended by Yemeni Prime Minister Salem Saleh bin Braik.
The new equipment includes a CT scanner using artificial intelligence to improve diagnostic accuracy and provide high-resolution imaging of the heart and blood vessels. An integrated laboratory system was also implemented to increase testing capacity and expedite results.
Since its operation by the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY), the hospital has conducted over 19,000 surgeries, including more than 7,000 open-heart and catheterization procedures, and provided nearly three million medical services.
The hospital is part of SDRPY's broader health initiatives, which include constructing, equipping, and rehabilitating hospitals and medical centers, and training medical staff. SDRPY has delivered 265 projects across eight sectors: education, health, water, energy, transport, agriculture and fisheries, government capacity building, and development programs.
