Wrth Launches Two New Academic Programs in Performing Arts

The Royal Institute of Traditional Arts (Wrth) has announced the opening of registration for its 2026 academic programs as part of its ongoing efforts to support the development of the traditional arts sector and nurture talent.
The institute is introducing two academic programs for the first time in the Kingdom, including a Master of Performing Arts and an Associate Diploma in Movement Performance. Classes are scheduled to begin in September 2026.
The first program is designed to prepare researchers and practitioners with the expertise to study, analyze, and reinterpret the performing arts within their cultural and contemporary contexts. It is offered in partnership with the Liverpool Media Academy.
Wrth also offers an Associate Diploma in Movement Performance, designed to prepare professional performers through a comprehensive training program inspired by the Kingdom's traditional movement arts and enriched by contemporary artistic practices, developing students' performance and creative skills while strengthening their ability to express themselves artistically and contribute to the Kingdom's growing cultural and performing arts sector. It is delivered in partnership with the Korea National University of Arts.
Wrth continues to preserve Saudi traditional arts and empower practitioners and enthusiasts through educational and training initiatives focused on discovering talent, developing skills and safeguarding cultural heritage.
