Media Ministry to Host Second Hajj Media Hub Under Unified Operations Center for Hajj
The Ministry of Media is holding the second edition of the Hajj Media Hub at the Makkah Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Exhibition and Events Center from June 1 to 4, in strategic partnership with the Pilgrim Experience Program, an initiative achieving Saudi Vision 2030, and organized by the Unified Hajj Media Operations Center.
The Hub is an integrated media environment that supports media professionals in completing their coverage using the latest technologies, aiming to foster innovation in local, regional, and international coverage of the 1446 AH Hajj season.
The Hub features a 6,000-square-meter interactive media exhibition showcasing the services provided to pilgrims. It also includes a media briefing platform, a fully equipped media center, various studios, and vehicles for live media broadcasts. The Virtual Press Center (VPC) platform offers regular updates and services throughout the Hub's operating days via the following link: vpc.media.gov.sa. More than 5,000 media representatives, stakeholders, and specialists are expected to benefit from the Hub’s services.
The second edition of the Hajj Media Hub initiative follows the remarkable success of its first edition, which saw strong participation and extensive media coverage. Over 2,000 media professionals, journalists, and visitors attended, along with more than 15 government and private entities representing 11 regions.
