Makkah Health Cluster Organizes International Workshop on Patient Empowerment

The Makkah Health Cluster is organizing a two-day workshop today focused on patient empowerment, with the participation of both international and local experts in the field.

 The workshop aims to strengthen the role of patients as active partners in healthcare delivery, enhance service quality, improve patient safety, and raise awareness of personal health, all while emphasizing the principle of prevention before treatment.

 According to the cluster, the workshop will explore global best practices in patient-centered care and showcase strategies that enhance patient involvement in medical decision-making.

 The cluster also noted that the workshop supports the goals of the Health Sector Transformation Program, one of the key initiatives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, by contributing to improved safety and more effective healthcare services.
