Religious Affairs Launches 'In Their Languages' Smart Translation Program

The Presidency of Religious Affairs, represented by the Agency for Dawah and Guidance Affairs, today launched the "In Their Languages" program at the Grand Mosque.

 The program uses smart simultaneous translation devices, which aim to empower members of the Commission for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice to provide dawah and guidance services to pilgrims in multiple languages, helping them perform the rituals in accordance with the Prophet's guidance, enhancing the religious experience of pilgrims, and addressing them in their own languages.

 The device features only three buttons, a touch screen, and the ability to operate a visual display and instantaneous audio and text display. It has a long battery life of up to 16 continuous hours on a single charge.

 The agency has deployed its enrichment efforts to serve pilgrims as part of its operational plan for the Hajj season 1446 AH. The program aims to enrich the religious experience of pilgrims and prepare them for worship by strengthening awareness programs on the ground.
