Over 99,000 Students Registered for Inaugural National Science and Mathematics Olympiad

A record 99,179 students from across Saudi Arabia have registered for the inaugural National Science and Mathematics Olympiad (NSMO).

 The competition, organized by the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) in partnership with the Ministry of Education, involves 8,356 schools across 16 areas.

 Riyadh Region led the nation in registrations, followed by Makkah and Eastern regions. The first phase of city- and governorate-level testing is scheduled to begin this Sunday.

 The NSMO consists of three rigorous stages of training and assessment, designed to identify and prepare the Kingdom’s top talent for competition in international science and mathematics forums.
