Over 50 Reading Clubs Participate in Second Forum at King Abdulaziz Public Library

King Abdulaziz Public Library Supervisor General Professor Faisal bin Muammar inaugurated the Second Reading Club Forum today in Riyadh, where representatives from over 50 reading clubs across the Kingdom gathered to exchange expertise and strengthen community culture under a national cultural project to renew readers' connection with books.

The forum featured a dialogue session on creating reading activities and specialized workshops addressing the challenges of reading clubs and the development of cultural partnerships. These activities aim to support the library’s leading role in promoting literacy and sustainable cultural development among all segments of society, particularly students.

Through this initiative, the King Abdulaziz Public Library seeks to raise awareness of the importance of reading and its role in building a knowledge-based society. By introducing modern reading topics and fostering collaboration between clubs, the project contributes to the Kingdom's broader goals for cultural and social advancement.
