KSGAAL Launches Summer Program for Immersive Cultural Experience for Non-Native Arabic Learners

King Salman Global Academy for the Arabic Language (KSGAAL) has launched an immersive linguistic and cultural program to enrich non-native Arabic learners in Saudi Arabia this summer. The program is part of the project aimed at teaching Arabic to non-native speakers locally, presenting an intensive experience that bolsters communication skills and cultural awareness.
KSGAAL’s Secretary General Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Washmi stated that the program is part of the academy’s efforts to empower non-native Arabic learners by connecting the language to its cultural and social contexts. This approach aims to facilitate their integration into university community and local society while building sustainable knowledge support networks.
The program will be conducted remotely, encompassing interactive language sessions, cultural meetings, and virtual excursions, all presented within a comprehensive educational framework that reflects the diverse linguistic and cultural contexts of the Kingdom. It spans five weeks, with four hours of lectures and two hours with language partners per week. Participants will receive an accredited certificate from KSGAAL upon fulfilling the requirements.
Non-native Arabic learners interested in joining the program can register through this link: https://form.ksaa.gov.sa/ic/builder/rt/IntensiveProgram/live/webApps/registration .
The program reinforces KSGAAL’s role in fostering effective linguistic and cultural partnerships, raising awareness of the importance of the Arabic language, and highlighting its cultural significance among non-native learners in Saudi Arabia. The goal is to strengthen the Arabic presence in academic institutions and educational environments.
The program, hence, supports KSGAAL’s strategic goals to enhance the Arabic language's presence in educational fields. The academy aims at connecting the language to local cultural and social environments and equiping learners with the necessary tools for various contexts.
