Over 27,000 Visitors Attend Hail Festival Events

The fourth annual “Beit Hail” Festival at Aja Park in Hail attracted over 27,000 visitors from within the city, across the Kingdom, and from Gulf and international destinations. Running from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m., the festival offers a rich blend of cultural, artistic, and heritage-driven experiences.

Visitors enjoyed a diverse array of live performances and interactive heritage showcases that recreated scenes from the past, presented by skilled artisans of both genders. The exhibits offered younger generations a glimpse into how their ancestors transformed natural materials into functional items, highlighting the ingenuity and authenticity of Saudi cultural heritage.

The festival features more than 40 events and artisanal showcases, including palm weaving (khoos), traditional Sadu weaving, handmade textiles, Najdi and Hail-style door crafting, resin art, soap making, crochet knitting, traditional garment tailoring, Thamudic embroidery, woodworking, leather stitching, fiber crafts, the Hail Incense Corner, and a section on architectural heritage. In addition, a visual arts pavilion and stage performances such as Samri, the Saudi Ardah, and the southern Khatwah are also presented.
