SDAIA Highlights Saudi Arabia's AI Efforts at United Nations

The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) participated in the 22nd session of the United Nations High-Level Committee on South-South Cooperation, with a session titled "Leveraging Science, Technology, and Innovation.”

 SDAIA highlighted the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's efforts in employing data and artificial intelligence (AI) to support the United Nation's 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

 The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's participating delegation was headed by the Ministry of Economy and Planning (MEP) and including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), and the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD).

 SDAIA highlighted its advanced expertise in developing digital solutions based on AI and big data, which contribute to enhancing decision-making efficiency and supporting international efforts aimed at achieving comprehensive and sustainable development, particularly in developing countries, by building integrated technological systems based on innovation and knowledge.

 SDAIA’s participation comes within the framework of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's pioneering role in its efforts with international organizations and various countries around the world to exchange successful experiences in the field of data and AI. This aligns with the objectives of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 and enhances Saudi Arabia's presence in international forums as an active partner in shaping the future of AI.
