Trophy System Returns to Esports World Cup 2025

Amid the rising global prominence of esports, the Trophy System in the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2025 serves as a key element that brings a high level of professionalism and competition to this international event, hosted by the Kingdom over seven weeks from July 7 to August 24.

 The 2024 edition of the Esports World Cup in Riyadh marked a historic milestone with the introduction of the Trophy System for the first time in an innovative step aimed at boosting competitiveness and strengthening the tournament’s symbolic identity.

 This year, the trophy system makes a comeback, featuring four main elements. The "Key" is the central element awarded to each player or team for their participation, symbolizing the entry code into the realm of challenge and professionalism. "Game Trophies" are awarded to the winners of individual games, highlighting the prestige of their achievements. The "Club Championship Trophy" is given to the best-performing team across all games, while the "Totem" serves to document the history of the winners of the EWC’s competitions.

 This year’s edition of the Esports World Cup features record-breaking prizes exceeding $70 million, making it the most valuable tournament in esports history.
