Islamic Affairs Ministry Launches Third Course to Qualify Preachers, Orators and Students in Kenya

 The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, represented by the Religious Attaché at the Saudi Embassy in the Republic of Kenya, launched on Sunday the third course for preachers, imams, orators, and students of Islamic knowledge. The five-day course is attended by 100 beneficiaries.
 The course features an academic program focused on establishing a sound foundation in Islamic law and strengthening participants’ proper understanding of matters of creed and Sunnah through an explanation of Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal’s book "Usul Al-Sunnah" (Principles of the Sunnah).
 The lectures are delivered by Northern Border University faculty member Dr. Khalid Al-Anzi and aim to develop participants’ scholarly and Dawah knowledge and skills and equip them to fulfill their mission in their communities on sound scholarly foundations.
 The course is part of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance’s efforts to implement academic and Dawah programs outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, qualify preachers, imams, orators and students of Islamic knowledge, and disseminate Islamic knowledge in accordance with the Quran and Sunnah.
 It reflects Saudi Arabia’s mission and leading role in serving Islam and Muslims and promoting the principles of moderation, balance and tolerance.
