KSrelief Concludes Six Volunteer Medical, Training, and Awareness Projects in Port Sudan

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has concluded six volunteer projects in Port Sudan, Sudan. They included two medical projects providing orthopedic surgery for adults and children, two training projects to build the capacity of local medical teams, and two medical awareness projects offering rehabilitation and educational programs for patients and their families.
 The projects were carried out from August 29 to September 4, 2026, in cooperation with Enaya Health Association, with the participation of 29 volunteers from various medical specialties.
 During the campaign, the volunteer medical team performed 48 orthopedic surgeries on adults and 44 pediatric orthopedic surgeries, all of which were fully successful. The team also examined 1,365 patients, provided training and educational programs for 241 community members and patients, and transferred knowledge to 39 local medical staff members.
 These volunteer projects are part of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing humanitarian and relief efforts through KSrelief to support the health sector and alleviate the suffering of vulnerable and affected communities across Sudan.
