
King Salman Science Oasis Hosts Global Research Council Delegation
King Salman Science Oasis today hosted a high-level delegation from the Global Research Council, comprising leaders and experts in research, development, and innovation from around the world. The visit coincided with the council’s 13th annual meeting, held for the first time in the Middle East and North Africa region, in Riyadh from May 18 to 22.
As part of the visit, an interactive session was held between the delegation members and a group of male and female students, aimed at inspiring scientific enthusiasm and fostering innovation among the next generation of researchers.
The delegation was briefed on the oasis's key initiatives and programs designed to support a culture of innovation and advance scientific research. Members expressed their appreciation for the Kingdom's commitment to investing in human capital and knowledge, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
Hosting the Global Research Council’s annual meeting underscores the Kingdom’s growing appeal as a hub for research, development, and innovation, and highlights its rising prominence on the regional and global stages.
