GCC Secretary General, Chinese Ambassador Discuss Preparations for Trilateral Summit Between GCC, ASEAN, China

Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi and Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Saudi Arabia Chang Hua discussed the latest preparations for the upcoming trilateral summit between the GCC countries, the ASEAN Group, and China, which will be held next week in Malaysia.
 This came during Albudaiwi's meeting with the Chinese ambassador today at the General Secretariat headquarters in Riyadh.
 The meeting addressed several topics, most notably a review of Gulf-Chinese relations and the importance of strengthening cooperation prospects to serve common interests. The latest developments in the free trade negotiations between the GCC and China, as well as matters of common interest, were also discussed during the meeting.
