Students Explore Future of Sustainable Mobility at UIM E1 World Championship
The UIM E1 World Championship in Jeddah recently hosted an educational field trip for students aged eight to 18 as part of the "Driving Force Presented by PIF" program. Launched by the Public Investment Fund (PIF) in 2025, this initiative promotes STEM education and sustainable mobility awareness through interactive workshops and hands-on scientific research.
During the visit, students toured the championship venue, explored advanced electric boat technologies, and met with global competitors. The activities were tailored to different age groups, challenging them to design presentations and conduct experiments that address future obstacles in the electric vehicle sector.
E1 Series Managing Director John Williams stated that launching the championship in Jeddah highlights the city's status as a global event hub. He emphasized that the partnership with PIF creates an integrated model that blends sports with long-term educational and environmental impact.
