Environment Ministry Launches Digital Licensing for Agricultural Activities via Naama Platform
The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture announced the launch of an agricultural activity license issuance service via the Naama electronic platform, enabling agricultural practitioners to obtain licenses through a mechanism for updating data on activities conducted on their agricultural holdings.
This move is part of the ministry's efforts to develop the agricultural sector, support and enhance agricultural production, and contribute to achieving high levels of self-sufficiency for targeted agrarian products, in line with the national strategy and the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
According to the ministry, obtaining a license allows beneficiaries to register data for all agricultural activities, including livestock and fisheries. The permit will subsequently enable farmers to benefit from the various services provided to them.
The ministry urged all farmers and investors to proactively update their data, register their agricultural activities, and issue their licenses by accessing the Naama platform at: https://naama.sa/.
