Shura Council Speaker Meets with GCC and Arab Parliamentary Leaders in Geneva

Shura Council Speaker Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh held several high-level meetings in Geneva while leading the Saudi delegation at the 151st Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Assembly.

 Dr. Al Al-Sheikh received Bahraini Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed Al-Musallam and UAE Federal National Council member and delegation head Dr. Ali Al Nuaimi, with whom he discussed ways to enhance joint Gulf parliamentary coordination, exchanged views on the IPU agenda, and addressed regional and international issues of common interest.

 He also received Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union (AIPU) Secretary-General Dr. Ahmed bin Alawi Hafeedh Baabood, with whom he discussed strengthening cooperation between the Shura Council and the AIPU to serve joint Arab parliamentary action, including the agenda for the Arab Coordination Group Meeting held on the assembly sidelines.
