Makkah Municipality Ramps Up Market Inspections Ahead of Hajj Season 1446 AH
The Holy Makkah Municipality has intensified its inspection campaigns across commercial and food markets as part of its preparations for the Hajj season 1446 AH.
Field teams have been increased and deployed across key neighborhoods and areas with high pilgrim concentrations to ensure compliance with licensing regulations and food safety standards. The municipality confirmed that all service locations and commercial markets are fully prepared to accommodate the needs of pilgrims.
Round-the-clock inspections are underway at facilities tied to public health, including restaurants, kitchens, barbershops, laundries, and bakeries. Authorities are also cracking down on street vendors and negative practices, working in coordination with other relevant agencies to maintain public safety and provide optimal services for pilgrims.
