Aster DM Healthcare to Launch AI-Powered Digital Healthcare Platform at #LEAP2025

Aster DM Healthcare, one of the leading integrated healthcare providers in the Gulf region, is set to introduce its AI-powered healthcare super app, myAster, to the Saudi market during LEAP 2025, aligning with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 digital transformation goals.

“At Aster, we see LEAP 2025 as more than just a technology event—it’s a platform where innovation meets real-world impact,” Alisha Moopen, Managing Director & Group CEO of Aster DM Healthcare, told Riyadh Daily. “Our goal is to push the boundaries of healthcare and make high-quality care more accessible and seamless.”

AI-Powered Innovation with Google Partnership

Aster’s participation at LEAP 2025 will showcase myAster, an all-in-one digital healthcare ecosystem integrating teleconsultations, diagnostics, e-pharmacy, and appointment scheduling. The platform, already successful in the UAE with over 2 million downloads, aims to redefine digital healthcare in Saudi Arabia.

A key feature of myAster’s Saudi launch is its integration of AI and GenAI-driven Arabic voice assistance, developed in collaboration with Google. The feature will allow users to describe symptoms in their native dialects, ensuring personalized and intuitive healthcare recommendations.

“With these innovations, we are committed to making high-quality, patient-centric digital healthcare a reality across the Kingdom,” Moopen said.

Expansion Plans and Investment in Saudi Arabia

Aster DM Healthcare is expanding its presence in Saudi Arabia as part of a SAR 1 billion investment strategy, which includes establishing new hospitals, expanding to 1,000 beds, launching medical centers, and adding 180 pharmacies to enhance accessibility.

“Our expansion strategy is based on a data-driven approach, selecting locations based on population density, unmet healthcare needs, and accessibility,” Moopen added. “By integrating AI-driven healthcare solutions and remote monitoring, we are ensuring a seamless and digitally enhanced patient experience.”

Strategic Role in Saudi Arabia’s Digital Healthcare Transformation

Saudi Arabia is accelerating its digital transformation in healthcare, with the government investing in AI-driven solutions and telemedicine services under Vision 2030. Nalla Karunanithy, CEO – Digital Health & eCommerce at Aster DM Healthcare, told Riyadh Daily that the Kingdom’s tech-savvy, mobile-first population is well-positioned to embrace myAster’s offerings.

“Saudi Arabia’s population is increasingly open to digital health solutions,” Karunanithy said. “By integrating telemedicine, AI-powered diagnostics, and remote monitoring, we aim to help build a smarter, more connected healthcare system.”

Differentiating MyAster in the Saudi Market

Unlike other healthcare apps, myAster functions as a comprehensive digital health ecosystem, offering teleconsultations, e-prescriptions, chronic disease management, and integrated health records, creating a seamless digital-to-physical healthcare experience.

“What sets myAster apart is its ability to integrate AI-driven voice assistance in Arabic, helping patients receive care recommendations in their native dialects,” Karunanithy added. “It’s a personalized, culturally relevant, and highly accessible solution that meets the Kingdom’s evolving healthcare needs.”

Strengthening Aster’s Long-Term Presence in Saudi Arabia

Aster DM Healthcare has reaffirmed its long-term commitment to the Saudi healthcare sector, focusing on strategic partnerships with government entities, technology leaders, and healthcare innovators.

“We are not just expanding our footprint; we are actively supporting Saudi Arabia in building a future-ready healthcare system,” Moopen explained.

With LEAP 2025 serving as a launchpad, Aster DM Healthcare is positioning itself as a key player in the Kingdom’s evolving healthcare landscape, driving digital innovation and enhancing patient access to world-class medical services.
