Islamic Affairs Minister Receives Maldivian Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister

Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Al Alsheikh received Minister of Islamic Affairs and Endowments of the Republic of Maldives Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed in Jeddah today.
 The two sides exchanged cordial talks and discussed several topics of common interest, as well as ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in Islamic affairs and promote the values of moderation, balance, and tolerance.
 Dr. Al Alsheikh affirmed the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance's commitment to strengthening cooperation and communication with Islamic bodies and institutions worldwide. He also emphasized the importance of exchanging expertise in areas of common interest in a manner that serves Islam, promotes moderation and balance, and rejects extremism and radicalism.
 Dr. Mohamed expressed his appreciation for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's efforts in serving Islam and Muslims. He also commended the programs and initiatives undertaken by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance to promote the values of moderation, balance, and tolerance and strengthen Islamic cooperation.
