Al-Noor Specialist Hospital in Makkah Completes Preparations for Hajj Season 1446 AH
Al-Noor Specialist Hospital in Makkah, part of the Makkah Health Cluster, has finalized an integrated operational plan to deliver comprehensive health, medical, preventive, and diagnostic services to pilgrims during the Hajj season 1446 AH.
The Makkah Health Cluster explained that treatment services include care for heat stress and other heat-related illnesses expected this year. The hospital has established a specialized center for sunstroke and heat stress with a capacity of 10 beds, equipped with water and air pumps to handle anticipated cases during this year’s Hajj season, given the high temperatures in Makkah and the holy sites. It emphasized that this center is the first of its kind among Makkah hospitals and operates under the supervision of the emergency department, providing 24-hour care for heat-stress patients.
The hospital has a bed capacity of 500 beds, staffed by a specialized medical team and equipped with modern medical equipment. It adheres to specific medical standards for the rapid organization of operations, while the medical team focuses on caring for the most critically ill patients and those in greatest need of treatment.
