Global Cultures Converge in Qassim at Peoples’ Heritage Festival
Governor of Qassim Region Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz inaugurated the fifth edition of the Peoples' Heritage Festival, organized by Qassim University in Buraidah. The six-day event features broad participation from organizations and attendees from more than 90 nationalities.
The governor said that the festival serves as a global cultural platform reflecting the Kingdom’s openness and rich diversity, noting that the presence of students from over 90 nationalities at Qassim University offers a vibrant model for intercultural dialogue and helps foster mutual understanding and cooperation among peoples.
He toured various pavilions showcasing cultural traditions from around the world, including the Saudi pavilion highlighting the Kingdom’s heritage, and praised the festival’s role in promoting coexistence and cultural exchange.
The festival attracts strong attendance annually, offering a rich mix of live performances, heritage exhibits, and interactive cultural experiences.
