Al-Mithnab Dates Season Showcases Over 70 Varieties, Strengthening Local Produce Market Presence
The Al-Mithnab Dates Season, coinciding with the "Al-Mithnab Red Sukkari" season, is seeing vibrant marketing activity reflecting the diversity of agricultural production in the governorate. Al-Mithnab produces more than 70 date varieties, strengthening the presence of local produce in markets.
The seasonal dates market, located at the central vegetable and dates market, brings together producers, marketers, and buyers under the organization and supervision of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture's office in the governorate. The market facilitates buying, selling, and auctions while improving the efficiency of marketing activities.
Director of the ministry's office in Al-Mithnab Governorate Tamim Al-Aboudi said the office continues to monitor dates arriving at the market, ensure compliance with regulations and instructions, and maintain the quality of products offered. He said these efforts support farmers and marketers while providing an organized marketing environment for market visitors.
