Saudi Culinary Arts Commission to Participate in the Taste of London Food Festival for the Third Time
For the third year in a row, the Saudi Culinary Arts Commission, one of 11 sector-specific commissions under the Ministry of Culture, will take part in the Taste of London Festival, held in Regent's Park, London, from June 18 to 22, 2025. Through its "Taste of Saudi Culture" pavilion, the Commission fosters cultural exchange, showcases the diverse cultural heritage of Saudi culinary arts, and promotes the Kingdom’s culinary excellence.
The pavilion will offer immersive activities and practices that celebrate the diversity of Saudi culinary traditions, including live cooking demonstrations by skilled Saudi chefs. Visitors will enjoy a rare opportunity to sample a variety of well-known traditional Saudi dishes, each with a unique story of heritage and flavor, such as the national dish Jareesh, the slow-cooked Haneeth, and the savory street favorite Mutabbaq.
Beyond the culinary offerings, the pavilion will feature interactive cultural elements that reflect Saudi Arabia’s broader heritage, including traditional henna art and the vibrant Asiri rose headbands. Guests will be welcomed with premium dates and Saudi coffee, timeless symbols of Saudi hospitality and generosity.
The pavilion will also serve handcrafted ice cream infused with traditional Saudi ingredients like dates, Taif rose, and Jizan mango, presenting authentic flavors with a modern twist. A variety of refreshing cold beverages made with local ingredients will accompany the food experience. Additionally, a boutique will offer signature Saudi products such as Maamoul (date-filled cookies) and distinctive Saudi coffee, blending retail, cultural appreciation, and culinary tasting into a fully immersive experience.
This participation reflects the Commission’s unwavering dedication to celebrating the depth and authenticity of Saudi culinary arts while introducing the Kingdom’s vibrant food culture to international audiences.
