Hajj Ministry Strengthens Pilgrim Rights Awareness Through Multilingual Programs, Guides
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah is strengthening efforts to raise pilgrims’ awareness of their rights and duties through a range of programs, guides, and informational content. These resources provide pilgrims and Umrah performers with guidance on their rights and the services available throughout their journey.
The efforts aim to safeguard pilgrims’ rights, improve service quality, and enhance their experience, in line with the leadership’s commitment to serving pilgrims and the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Pilgrim Experience Program.
The ministry runs a dedicated awareness program on rights and duties covering accommodation, transportation, food services, service quality, compliance with contracted services, and complaint mechanisms. It also monitors service providers’ compliance with approved rights and standards.
As part of its broader awareness efforts, the ministry has made a comprehensive legal awareness guide available on its website in 14 languages. The guide provides pilgrims and Umrah performers with information on their rights and duties, as well as regulations and instructions relevant to their journey.
